Car Free Day North Vancouver presented by TransLink, is pleased to debut on Carrie Cates Court alongside Shipyards Festival this summer, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 12 pm to 10 pm.
The event will take place along Carrie Cates Court in North Vancouver. The street will become a pedestrian paradise filled with music, vendors, exhibitors and interactive elements!
Car Free Day North Vancouver is pleased to announce this year’s line-up. Vancouver’s own Blonde Diamond will be bringing their energetic blend of indie rock and roll, R&B, and disco to the main stage. Supported by Vox Rea, Bookclub, Redwoods, Kylie V, Anton Seth, Sarah Osborne, Tobacco Brown, and Moving City.
Did someone say breakdancing? Our DJ & Dance Stage will be hosting a breakdance battle, that you won’t want to miss.
There is a little something for everyone, including families! The Shipyards Festival will be taking place right next door at 15 Wallace Mews and will have a Family Zone. featuring performances by The Robin Reddy Show and Juggler extraordinaire Mike Battie plus crafts, and face painting.
The festival will feature two stages programmed with local recording artists, plus dance groups along Lower Lonsdale’s gorgeous waterfront!
Offering more than just great music and entertainment, Car Free Day North Vancouver offers a chance to learn more about the future of transportation in our region.
We encourage local participation from musicians, vendors, community groups and individuals.
